In April, the Blairgowrie & Rattray Freedom Coach Association proudly took delivery of a brand-new coach – a Mercedes Sprinter specially adapted to meet our needs by Stanford Coachworks. This exciting addition ensures we can continue providing essential services to elderly and disabled members of our community, helping them with shopping trips, attending group activities, and enjoying social outings.
We are also delighted to share that our recent appeal for new members has been a success. We warmly welcome six new members and three new trustees to the team.
The local Blethers group recently presented a £100 donation to the Blairgowrie Freedom Coach which was gratefully accepted by Charlie Bisset on behalf of the association. He thanked all the members and emphasised how grateful he was for the support from local groups in the area.
Since its founding in 1981, the Freedom Coach has remained a vital lifeline for the community, and we are committed to continuing this important work.
